Lovely view from the observation tower especially on a sunny day. There's a carpark right at the entrance to the path towards the tower but it is quite small. There is also a small beach there that also leads to the carpark. Oddly enough spotted two swans there in the ocean.

You come here to appreciate the ecological impact and importance a place like this has on the environment. Urban sprawl on one side- Point Cook Marine Sanctuary and Port Philip Bay on the other. All flat ground 1500m walk to the lookout. No toilets or rubbish bins. Take your rubbish with you!
I wish there were no fence and we could just walk towards the ocean. But it was still a wonderful little nature spot close to CBD. Little less explored and little more loved!

The wetlands area a part of the coastal area between Altona Meadows and Point Cook. Originally this was a saltworks. As time has passed it is now a part of the extended parkland. You can view the area from atop the 100 Steps to Federation.
